SolarEdge Power Optimisers and inverters are a great way to get the most out of shaded or complicated solar arrays. Optimisers track and modulate the performance of each solar panel in order to overcome any differences resulting from shading, orientation or module mismatch. The SolarEdge optimiser system will reduce the impact of these differences to maximise the power of the system, and ensure a quicker return on the investment for domestic and commercial installations.
The SolarEdge also includes module-level monitoring via an online portal which is compatible with smartphone apps.

Longi is our best selling Solar Panel
Longi’s all black Hi-MO 6 430W solar panel improves power generation capacity, providing a great power to size ratio and excellent performance – achieving 22% efficiency. The product family is suitable for both residential and C&I rooftop systems.
The Hybrid-Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) cells not only deliver fantastic efficiency but, because they have a back-contact design, there are no visible busbars on the front of the panel, giving a very clean and up to date appearance. This feature makes these panels some of the blackest-looking black panels on the market. Visit Longi <HERE>

MyEnergi Eddi is an energy management system from MyEnergi, for use with grid-tied PV systems. Excess energy from your solar system is used to heat water or rooms rather than exporting it to the grid. Two heaters are supported, (typically top and bottom immersion heaters).
Harvi CT sensor: Harvi is a clever little device that enables the Zappi EV Charger and Eddi products to be installed without using a directly wired current transformer (CT) for measuring the grid and or generation power; instead the current transformer is connected to Harvi.
No power source is needed for Harvi – the energy from the CT is harvested and used to transmit the measurement signal to the Zappi or Eddi. This means batteries or electrical wiring are eliminated!
The Zappi is Myenergi’s smart EV charger, with which you can charge your car when and how you want. As with all of their products, it’s designed to work seamlessly with solar PV, or any other form of microgeneration, and battery storage. It monitors exported power from the property and, in ECO mode, controls the charging rate of the EV to match the available surplus generation. This means that you can charge your car for free!
Zappi V2.1 chargers can be installed under the OLEV grant scheme where an accredited installer is used and are OCPP compliant. More <HERE>

Useful Information on Car (EV) Charging
Getting a smart home charger installed is the most convenient way to charge your electric vehicle and with low overnight electricity rates, there’s no better time to switch (EV), and fortunately, it is not as complicated as you might think.
Before you book your EV charger installation, there are several important points you will need to consider:
Where you park your electric Vehicle and where you want your home charger to be fitted.
- The coverage of your home’s Wi-Fi (as the charger needs a wi-fi signal)
- What kind of EV charger do you want to get installed?
- Do I have solar or might I want solar in the future? If so, will it be compatible?
- How much will the installation cost?
- Which EV chargepoint provider do I choose?
- Do I want a tethered or untethered charger? (See below)
P.S. Don’t worry… we can help you answer those questions!
What’s the difference between a tethered and untethered EV Chargers? While both tethered and untethered EV chargers charge your car in the same way, tethered chargers have a fixed cable attached to the charging unit. In contrast, untethered chargers have a detachable charging cable that can be unplugged from your charging unit.
